Traffic

According to the calculations of Frey and Stutzer, a person with a one-hour commute has to earn 40 percent more money to be as satisfied with life as someone who walks to the office. The reason long commutes make us so unhappy is that the flow of traffic is inherently unpredictable
I feel that is correct. For my previous job the getting to work wasn’t that bad (read the newspaper), but the trip home was often very boring (both trips took between 30-50 minutes with 35 as an average). Now instead I use around 10 minutes to get to work with the bus, and approximately 30 minutes to walk home.

Is it art

There is no other medium that produces so pure a cultural segregation as video games, so clean-cut a division between the audience and the non-audience. Books, films, TV, dance, theatre, music, painting, photography, sculpture, all have publics which either are or aren’t interested in them, but at least know that these forms exist, that things happen in them in which people who are interested in them are interested.
